I know what the USCG regulations are pertaining to PFD's type I, II, III and type V. My question is this to experienced fisherman and boaters who have spent many years on Lake Ontario, what would you suggest to have on my boat? I have type II and III PFD's.

Thanks

Lew,

No question about it, Type I for everyone aboard. Type II will suffice in most situations and smaller inland lakes, but Type I will work in all situations. Type III should be used for inland recreational sports . Non swimmers get I or II while underway, III when drifting or at anchor in calm water durning the day.

Don't forget the whistles and lights.....
