I am looking for help targeting Lakers/Steelies/Kings early in the year when the Browns shut down. I fish out of Fair Haven and this past weekend after the Browns shut down i moved out to deeper water to try my luck. I fished from 80-200 FOW with zero luck and a total blank screen. I had 47-43 degrees up top. I was running riggers down 20 - 45 and dipsies out 90 - 140 My question is what temps do i look for and do i run same rigger/dipsey KING spread or should i be running sticks off the boards etc. Any help would be great just trying something different

Run your rigs deeper. With the clear water, the kings will go deep as soon as the sun starts to show. Run boards on the surface for steelies. Lakers, look on the bottom in 70 - 180 fow. I have caught lakers on the bottom in 220 in May.

will the kings be "out of temp" this time of year? or is there a certain temp i should target?
