Simple question

I have been able to figure out most of the jargon associated with trolling, but one eludes me. What does it mean when a spoon is mupped? thx

a "mup rig" is matching spoons one standard, one mag (or junior and standard) with the larger spoon on a fixed slider (cheater) just above the main spoon.

The typical setup is a standard sized spoon approx 10 feet off the ball, with a mag spoon in the same pattern on a fixed slider 5 feet up on a 5 foot leader, so you have what looks like a smaller baitfish following a larger one, 5 feet below and 5 feet behind tha larger one. The larger one seems to call em in and the fish usually hit the smaller trailer.
