Lake trout derby question

I'm fishing the trout derby with the family for the first time. The website has very little information, so maybe you guys can help. Can I buy derby tickets when I get to Sampson? Also, I'm guessing everyone on the boat needs a ticket...correct?

Everyone in the boat needs to be registered. You can get registered at the Chamber of Commerce (north end of the lake) or Roy's Marina (west side of the lake).

Is that little bait shop with the small campground just before Sampson going to have the tickets again this year? They said they might not even be open.
