Keep at it ,we've all been there, done that. You get a bad day once in a while , somtimes a few in a row but it all will fall together. Keep it simple & make what you have work . Speed is really important.

the blind squirrel saying aint no good on lake o. if you want it so bad you stare at the downriggers all day then the lake "spirits" will mess with your head and your wallet. treat them fish like they are dirty nasty things and you dont want them on the boat anyways...your just out for a joyride, then....zing!!!! fish on. works everytime.

kingsalmon hit that one on the head, ignore everything you have down, the more you stare at your gear the longer it takes to get a hit. Best thing i do is go up front and make a sandwich, a rod fires 90% of the time!!

We've been running 11 miles at 330 degrees out of little sodus bay and catching lakers suspended 45 ft. down and steelies on top.Nothing big and no great numbers but seems better than we do in close. Can't catch a brown since the big one we got the first day we got here. :(

Staring at the rods a bad thing, will attempt to look elsewhere never mind your gear and they hit gonna try relaxing used to take landscape pictures til Muskybob laughed at me and something else about web site. Hopefully I found my ground feed site corrected it so I will not pay attention.
