How many miles I can go?

recently, my friend just lend me his boat so I wonder how many miles I can go.

The boat features ---

1987 sea ray-open bow

20 footer

50 gallon of gas

mecruiser 350 r8 engine - I/O

Can someone let me know?

Since I know there is various speed that cause gas waste when speeding. But given consideration maintained speed that I willing to go. I kinda expect far around 50 to 70 miles for total of all gas on the boat. But I am not sure. I just want to know this before I am going out fishing with this boat.

I would say that 50 -70 mile range would be at cruising speed. Trolling your fuel consumption shouldnt be that high. Does it have a fuel gague?

I have a 24ft hardtop with a 305 80 gal tank and between running and trolling I get 80 miles on a half tank. cruising at 2800 rpm 21 mph 2 people.
