Shallow water Browns and Walleye?

Is anyone having any luck finding Browns in the shallows lately? How about Walleye after wark on the shorelines? I'm heading out later this afternoon in search with my Father but I havent been out in a few weeks. He doesnt get down here much to fish with me so I am trying to get him into some action. Any help would be appreciated. If the Browns and Walleye are a lost cause at this point than I would gladly accept the recipe for any species you want to throw my way.

eeesh...mexico is good for gobys in late may through late july. thats about it unless you got a 43 foot scarab with twin bravos and mag454s to get in and out of temps.
