Hi,

I wanted to ask people here if they know of the best/most accessible spots on Irondequoit Bay to fish from the shore. Is it as simple as parking on a road that runs along the bay, walk down, and that's it? I'm concerned about issues with trespassing, or if there really are any spots that are easy to get to and yield decent results. I primarily want to stick to the bay, as I'm more of a walleye, pike, Bass fisherman as opposed to the breeds that congregate in the lake proper.

I also wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions for places to fish in Rochester and the surrounding suburbs. I'm really looking for any ponds or reservoirs that people have had success at. Thanks in advance!

stl - welcome to the site. I-Bay has quite a channel that can be fished from. Also there's a public place on the southwest side near the old dirt launch. But both are pretty shallow.

On the River, there's obviously the piers & the state site just south of the CG station. Also Maplewood, Seth Green drive and Turning Point (end of Boxart st)

H.I.H. Good luck
