The last few weeks I've lost some top end on the boat and could not figure out why? The boat started good ran good just wouldn't break 4000 rpm and alittle sluggish getting up on plane. Had my buddy schedule a complete tune up. Plugs/wires/cap/rotor/ compression test/ oil change/ new fuel filter etc. Come to find out my air filter was plugged w/ the cotton crap that blows off the trees at Myers point. I mean I could have made a pair of socks w/ the amount of cotton that came off. Long story short for the guys who's boats stay near the lake and have i/o or inboard check your air filter. You might be surprised. I will be stuffing rags in my vents when she is sitting for the week and not fishing.

Watch out now I'm running 100% for the red cross (knocking on wood) as I type.

Mower,

Our first year in business in Seneca Falls we had a breakdown with our Air Conditioning in mid-June. Sure enough, the outdoor compressors were completely caked with the cottonwood fuzz. We now know when the "Spring Snow" flies, time to hose down the outdoor AC units.
