A shredded A-TOM-MIK has the mylar finely cut compared to the regular A-TOM-MIKs. Put them side by side and you will see the difference very clearly. I have a shredded glow hammer right now that has been killer on my wire.

Yup...Big Weenie was the first to come out with the fine cut mylar flies ( we debuted them at the lotsa show) and A-Tom-Mik followed with the shredded version.

I have several BW fine cut mylar fly patterns, the Blue Weenie was very good for us last week. Our boat has been running a lot of spoons so far, but as we run more flies in these upcoming weeks, I suspect the fine cut/shredded flies to be great producers!

Pretty much if you want a little less profile in the water use the fine cut or shredded. Its the same material just thinner and works awesome. Try running some with the thread toward the flasher for a thinner look in the water, BW
