Mike and I had another great day thanks (in a way) to Tim's (Finders Keepers) advice from yesterday. Tim mentioned that on his way in yesterday, he found a lot of good marks at 120 fow.

As Mike and I were leaving the channel this a.m., I mentioned that Tim suggested we start the day in 160 fow (Hey, I'm old!! The memory isn't what it used to be!) It's a good thing we screwed up, because we finished the day 9 for 11!!

Summary:

1 small coho on a NK watermelon off the rigger 75 down

2 steelies, both about 4 pounds- one on the same rigger as the coho, and one on a NK green glo down 140

6 kings- from 6 to 18 pounds- three on the NK green glo rigger down 140, one on a white hoochie mama/white fly out 420, one on a green dot black spinnie/ green fly out 360, and one on the NK watermelon down 70.

Thanks again for the good advice Tim, even if I didn't follow it!! Hey, they moved out overnight!!

Tomorrow, if the weather holds, I'm going out with Tim. (I think I'll let him pick the spot!!)

Good fishing,

Jim
