I heard that if you run at least a 40 pound power pro you won't have trouble with fleas is that true? the second question has to do with running spin doctor fly combos. Is there any way to prevent the huge amount of line twist?

Power Pro, and most other braids, will be flea attractants. For best results try the Flea Flicker line or bump up to 30# mono.

The ONLY way you'll prevent line twist with a spinning attractor like a Spin Doctor is to use a high quality, ball bearing swivel. The cheap barrel swivels will NOT work and you'll end up losing a LOT more money in tackle and line than you thought you saved by going with a cheaper swivel.

Like Paul said switch to 30 pound mono and clean every 20 minutes. I did this the other day and did not have any problems reeling in fish, although it is a lot more work. But better than working. :D:D
