After reading all the great reports I knew I had to get out so i took the small boat and went solo. Ran 2 rods off the DRs. All the hits came on a DW 42snd spoon 35 back and 61 down. Couldnt get anything going on SDs/paddles. Two tenage kings, a 8-9 lb steelie and real nice very fat coho - all fish cpred & released. The fleas were rather annoying ( even on the fleaflicker line) and the insects were rather thick this morning. Dropped the last 3 fish hit so decided between the fleas, bugs and heat to hang it up about 9:30. Hope to be back out this weekend

Nice catch Ted we had the same day lots of fleas and lots of bugs fortunately the biting flys weren't out yet nock on wood.

being solo -- a good morning of fishing. Nice going & thanks for the CP&R, worth the effort & a sign of a REAL sportsman. Nothing wrong with keeping one for the grill or smoker once in awhile, especially if they're going to go belly up anyway.

Fleas + flies... mmmm I'll slather the bug dope over the SPF.
