Launched at Woodville at 6:30 am, scared the poop out of me when I realized that in fact the water REALLY was 4 ft deep! Got to the drop off.......set poles, two dipsy's back 200ft, two lead cores with 3oz weights back 150ft, trolled at 2.0 to 2.5 mph, east side......wham! Nice rainbow, followed by another nice bow. Then a dry spell for about an hour, was getting ready to cross the lake and head back down the west side when something large hit the dipsy, got off half way to the boat and bent my spoon in half, very large fish indeed. Crossed the lake picked up a decent laker in 200+ fow on the lead core, one more bow for a nice morning. All I ran was chrome spoons and it seems to have worked good. Oh....VERY few fleas.
