wanted to join and get info mainly on the fingerlakes , tired of going out to Lake Erie ( a small version of the Bering Sea ), go out 8 miles or more, calm waters and fight your way back to safe harbor!!, not for me anymore, not until I get myself about a 30' plus Boston Whaler or the like to handle the waters just can't do it comfortably in the 17+ footer anymore, a pain in the "stern" so to speak , so will be following the boards , asking for advice and hope to enjoy good fishing, and NO I am not a "basshole"
