Distances for wobble trolls (peanuts)

Hi, I just moved to Colorado a year ago. I bought some wobble trolls (peanuts) from Bass Pro Shop, and I would like to know how much of a leader to run behind dodger, or cow bells. We have some lakes out here with Lakers over 20lbs.

Try 30 to 36". Seems to work for me.Also use 20 to 25 lb min mono.Those big one's have nasty teeth.

Try flatfish, the biggest one with a single treble , about 1.5" long, f5 maybe . Fish it just like the peanuts, close to bottom.
