unit turns on by itself backlight flashes on off any solutions

Same problem, I believe it is in the touchpad control. Can not do anything but live with it and pull the plug in back on the left side. Put it back in when you use the machine. Lay the machine down on its face and the fluid in the pad may fill back in to keep it working better.
