Hemlock by canoe for cold water

what would be the best way to fish for trout or landlocked in Hemlock if i am in a canoe? Hoping to get over there in the next couple of weeks. Any advice would be great. Much thanks!

if you have a fishfinder try jigs with zoom flukes, white on white or green and silver when you see fish at or near bottom, if the water is cold still and you don't have a ff try near shore casting swimming jig back to boat, or toss out a swedish pimple laker taker blue and silver and paddle/ troll that rig behind as you take in the scenery. A rod holder might help too for the paddle troll and don't forget to get the permit at the top of lake.
