Did a quick evening trip with my 4 year old son Liam. We launched from Keuka Lake State Park and had our lines in the water by 7pm. Found some good marks 40' down over 160 FOW. With no takers in the first hour we picked up the speed a little and the rods started popping. 200' copper with a green dolphin SD and BW cornbread produced 3 lakers. One laker came on a honey bee glow frog 125' down over 150 FOW. All lakers were in the 18" - 20" range. Nothing huge but a great size for my son. It was his first time with the copper and he did great. Off the water by 8:30pm. Fleas were minimal.

TK,

Thats awesome! Way to go on the copper to the little guy! I have trouble reeling it in without a fish on it ...
