SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Started out in 85 FOW but the water was 70 degrees at 75 feet so I went out to 180 where at 90 feet dependent on the down speed (different currents) the temperature went up and down between 40 and 58 degrees.I started with an empty screen but at least there was the temperature thing. As the hour got later, the screen started filling up with bait and very soon afterwards small and big fish between 35 to 65 feet and then again at 95.I lost some real big ones because of a shaker that did not even made the rod shudder and stayed on the rigger while some very big fish passed at the right depth. After that blunder I went back to using rubber bands, which made it easy to see the other skippies.Later on I got 2 big ones in the low twenties which made for a very nice evening out

Cornelis.
