Cayuga Lake 8/1 and 8/2

Fished Cayuga Lake near AES. Ton of bait and lakers on the bottom. Lots of weeds too. Caught one weed mat that I had to stop the boat for. It put up a great fight! Lol. Heres some pictures.

HAppy Anniversary. Nice fish and yes we had the same problem in the pre-dawn Sat. You know it a big pod when your kicker motor chugs as the weeds get chopped up. We'll be back on Cayuga next weekend for the light house .

Going out this friday and Saturday. Hope the weather is good. Like 60 to 70's overcast with a light breeze would be nice. Like to fish the light house but suppose to be doing a camping trip:(
