Heard this conversation on the radio on Monday between a rec and charter capt. LMAO (names not given)

BL -- Did you make it out here to the deep water?

S -- We fished in the ice water and took a couple of small fish then we went 6 miles out but our fishfinder (HB) was not reading bottom so we came back in to fish the ice water.

BL --Well... you really don't need to know where the bottom is out here, just put the riggers down 50, 60, 70 & 80 and you will catch fish

S -- I really don't like fishing when I don't know where the bottom is, so I will just stay in here where I know the bottom is at 100 foot

WTH -- I guess the bottom out 6 miles might come up and bite some fishermen in the aft!!!
