Tough day on Cayuga.

Launched from Long Point and worked north from Sheldrake to the north side of Aurora.

Did boat some bows in the 4 to 5 lb class, 2 lakers, & a few LLs. The fish that were willing to hit were in 150 FOW between 40 & 50'.

Only one small lakers hit a wire rig which I thought was unusal. The fish & bait were scattered without any major concentrations. The few folks that we talked to reported about the same!

Nice bow! if that was a tough day I would hate to see a good day ;)

Still a good day on the water ;) and someone looks happy :)

I'd take a couple of bows like that any day :) , nice job!

I was out there on Saturday also and only caught a few. I think I may have been fishing too deep. I was marking fish 80-100 and fished that deep but only caught 3 small lakers.

:lol: The pattern are from the grates in the bottom of the cooler. Didn't mean to sound like it was a bad day. We boated only 7 fish and we were lucky to get 2 nice bows. We covered alot of water for 7 fish!

We had the same experience on Sunday...scattered fish, not many willing participants, and covered a lot of water to get a handful of fish. Not complaining tho...all in all, beautiful day at church.
