not good, but its great that she ate it!! That pic looks a LOT like a bowfin tho... I thought snakeheads had crazy savage like teeth.

tough call with that picture but i'm glad she ate it two I will say it sounds like the canadian news likes to sensationalize and use scare tactics just like our media Can survive freezing my a$$ and 1.8m whats that like 7 ft even the giant snakehead doesnt get that big but they are a danger that part they got right

yea if you look at the link now there is an update that confirms its a bowfin, but why bother doing any research when you can get a good scare story on tv first.

looks fishy to me why would they only take a picture of the fishes face if it was me and I wanted to prove it was a snake head i would have shown the hole fish

I say bowfin. Snakeheads have bigger teeth. Look at the pictures below for comparison.

Looks like a bowfin to me too - all the pictures I've seen of snakeheads, none of them were green, always brown or black, while every bowfin I've caught was green

It's a catfish maybe even a smallmouth pike No worries.
