Salmon fishing ?

Hello Everyone,

We are from Cleveland and would like to know if the King Salmon is biting the week after Labor Day. How much longer do we have to make plans before the fish head to the river to spawn? Any information would be helpful. We are new to this website so any ifo would be helpful. Thank you all and good luck fishing.

Thank you for the information. Another question is what is good cut bait, stinger spoons what colors, what fow, dipseys, downriggers would appreciate any info.

Should the mature kings head up stream early, there will still be thousands of 3 year olds and steelhead to target.

Charlie , it changes all the time . Read the reports and the tweets and you can get an idea on what's up.

It changes every year around that time. Last year after the first week in September you couldn't find any salmon in Oswego but Mexico bay held good numbers through September. This year may be different it all depends on temps and wind conditions. Pay close attention to this site untill then and you will have a very good idea before you come up.
