345 Penn troubles

I bought a new 345 Penn reel loaded w/400 copper in June of this year. The line guide binds on the right side of the reel,letting out &retrieve.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a quick fix for this?Or do I have to send it back to Penn? Any info would be appreciated.
