they're hungry. caught 6 pike and a tiger this morning. used 4 different baits,all worked today.

still can't catch a big tiger. looks like the launch next to my hand.

Great day. From afar it looks like Conesus is a good destination for northerns. Or is it?

it is indeed. i go there to fish for tigers but the pike fishing there has been great the past few years. i catch at least ten pike there for every muskie i get. the average pike there is twice the size of the other finger lakes.

Trolling, casting or live bait. Are you concentrating on specific area of the lake.

i only cast there. no one area really. i just stay on the deep weed edge and keep moving.

still active...lots of fishing pressure and bright skies there today but we managed two pike - largest was about 30 inches. they didnt want hard baits but spinnerbaits and chatterbaits both produced for us
