Lower Niagara or Lake (Wilson)?

Hoping to get out this Saturday.

Have seen a few postings about guys quitting the Lake for the year and fishing the river.

Are there still mature Kings out in the Lake this time of year or am I better off heading to the river?

Also, in the river, most guys drift fish with egg sacs and cleos, right?

Dumb question - why not troll with spoons or even flies in the river?

still plenty of fish in the lake... the Niagara has a few fish up in the devils hole area... with the wild winds we have had the last few days Lake Erie is pumpin alot of mud down into the lower river and out to the bar area... drifting with skein and kwikfish are the methods of choice in the Niagara
