Dodger question

I got a deal on some Luhr Jensen dodgers but was wondering how you rig them. What end goes towards the pole and what end goes towards the bait? Is it the same action either way? One side has a swivel and the other just has a welded ring on it.

Welded ring is the front.

When you say front do you mean welded ring towards lure or bait?

It sounds like they took of the (pig-tail) for the bait end off. The one I'm looking at here , the one end has a bit more bend in it and a dent in the dodger for the welded ring to ride in and that end is where the bait,lure goes......hope this helps..................

Out of the package most should have only swivel at the front with the welded ring which goes to the rod, the swivel/snap/pigtail goes to the lure/bait/fly.

ok thanks I think I will add a swivel to the side that does not have one to allow it to move more free.
