Visited Port Bay for the first time yesterday, and loved it! Despite windy and wet weather, we managed to pick up some decent perch, and we can't wait to go back. Curious about any fall migrations that might happen up there.... do walleye and possibly bigger perch move into Port Bay as the weather gets colder? We're thinking about going back up in early October to see what we can find.

Not looking for secret spots, just curious whether walleye will be worth pursuing in the bay itself.

Thanks,

Duane

Jumbo perch will move in over the next month or so. Then they'll be there until next April. I love this time of year!

Yeah, the jumbo's come in and there are some walleye in there too, but you have to work for them! Fish the drop-off on the NE side of Woodtrack for the walleye. I haven't been able to get out yet this fall, but hopefully I'll be getting my jigs wet before too long!!
