NK28 question...

Recently heard a rumor while out on the water that NK founder and inventor Pat Distaffen named the NK28 because he felt the optimum distance behind the ball for that spoon is 28 feet.

Can anyone verify that story? Do you think in practice that it's true?

If so, what's the best distance for the NK Mags?

Nope. Sorry. The NK 28 is named for the thickness of the spoon blank - .028".
