gimble bearing

I need to have a gimble bearing redone on the boat any idea what kind of a price I am looking at? also I need the lower unit rebuilt. not looking for an exact price just a ball park figure.

Well it depends on if the bearing goes in from the outside of the boat or the inside. To do my gimble bearing my motor had to come out. I know a lot of boats that bearing can be changed by just removing the outdrive, but not mine. Maybe someone on here has the same boat as you and would know the answer to that question. If you do not have the know how to remove an engine it can be quite costly.

I had mine done on my Baha Cruiser this spring they also replaced the u-joints and shift boot and changed the oil the total price was 800.00. That was my boat not sure what another may cost. Good luck!
