Question-Canandaigua, Ramp at North End???

hey guys, is that ramp at the northwest end of the lake open year round? is it open at all hours or is there a gate? anything i need to know about this one as i might try it out for the first time tommorow. appreciate any help. best, mark

no gate, there is a hut with a dude to take your cash, $5 ?or you need the NYS Park Sticker, the dude isn't there really early but he will leave a bill on your windshield. Around the end of the month it will be unmanned.

Mark,I think the state close the tollboth after Labor Day.

thanks guys, i called them today and talked to some kid. he said they start charging at 9am and if your there before that its free! i bet his boss wouldnt agree with that. best, mark
