Skaneateles Skaneatles rainbows...

this cooler weather has me thinking about an outing on Skan..........anyone trolled there recently? I am wondering if the bows have started to come up near the surface. Any recent info at all would be appreciated.

i dont know anyone who has fished it recently but a good friend who is very experienced with the rainbows on skaneateles suggested fishing 30-35' down over deep water. he said its still too early(warm) for the surface activity. i may try it tommorow to get out of this south wind. if i do anything ill post. best, mark

i dont have alot of info on that because he hasnt been out alot lately but he did state that the average size for rainbows now is great. same thing with the salmon. im gonna fish the south end in the morning. ill let you know. best, mark
