Needs some info kind of fast guys.

I'm heading back up to lake Ontario again on the 1st of October. We were up last weekend out of the Big Salmon, Didn't do so well, but hey, its better than school or work!!!!

Anyways, where are all of the fish being taken in the lake now? Whats a good port to being going out of at this time of year? And any camp grounds that anyone wants to recommend would be appreciated.

I'm in an open top, center console, 18.5' Starcraft, so Bays are better than open lake fishing.

If you read the reports it appears the Oak is crankin pretty good.

Has anyone fished out of Fairhaven campgrounds? And do they have a launch at the park?

there is a nice launch in the state park. lake fishing has really slowed as of last weekend but the bay should start producing some nice pike bass and perch about now. good luck if you get out... I should be around the bay looking for northerns and perch this weekend.

Thanks Fox....We're after kings and coho though......we'll probably head back up to Port Ontario and hope things have improved.
