How lucky to pick a day off like today? Met my buddy, Boat in the water ready in Ithaca at 7am. We hit AES first and poped a quick laker, and a dink salmon. Slow after that and headed to the west side starting at rocky dock area. Great marks on the screen and we got onto our first triple but only landed one. Had good marks on the screen but it was a Cooper clinic the rest of the day. Had an occasional dipsey fire with same fly but the lone copper rig ruled. Fish were taken from 60 - 85 over 120 - 180. Made two runs turining around before sheldrake. We boxed 4 lakers and 2 salmon. Lost about the same which was another first. Even the sliders would pop with no one home, not sure what was the deal on that. Nothing big but a solid day with some Hot temps. We almost had to jump in the water when the wind let up a few times.
