1979 century

I have a 1979 century 26 ft cuddy with a chevy 350 & a omc stringer outdrive. this outdrive has cost me a bunch of money & just keeps going. I would not try to take advanage of anyone & sell them a pig in a poke, so what i thought I would do is parts it out. the engine is very strong & runs like a top, I have a fairly new all aluminum double axel trailer with 4 brand new tires. So what i am looking for is opinions as what everyone thinks i should do. Thank you.

With OMC not in business and parts getting harder to find, I would part it out. There is a market for OMC parts. Or, if you love the boat and can fiberglass convert it to a mercruiser. There are conversion kits available.

why not repower with an outboard?
