Nav Co Autopilot

Is there anyone who knows anything about this system? The navco autopilot units? Are they a good brand? It came on the new bayliner. I have yet to see it work. Trying to diagnose the electrical problem still. Anybody care to chime in?

Navico autopilot became Simrad. I bought a boat about five years ago that came with a Navico, it is identical to the Simrad AP12 and worked very well. The control got wet and was replaced with a new Simrad unit. Great system in my opinion. (much better than the Raymarine sportpilot + in my old ride)

So if i had ant troubles, would simrad be able to help me out? it doesnt power up, ill have to wait to spring ti find out now..
