Canandaigua 10/17 report...late sorry!

Sorry for the late post. Fished the North end on a windy cool day with little to show Managed one good rainbow in the 5-6 lb range off German Bros 70 down over 150 on a green and black Pirate 44, as well as a small laker on a watermelon 8" assasin/ atomik fly from Dave at R&R tackle. Threw the usual "hot" stuff at them with lots of marks and bait with only 3 pops all day. Only missed fish was on a slider 50/90 sutton 71. I don't know if it was us or if they were just shut down with the cold front Hope to get back out a few times this year....hard to get crews with the treestands hangin and rut coming
