In case you folks did not know of this hidden treasure, they put up all types of sausage, kielbasa, hot sticks,(good with extra-sharp cheese/crackers) jerky, etc, etc.

The retail area is loaded with awards from PA, Ohio, and NY state fairs, and even some international recogintion.

They process between 550-750 plus, deer each year.

Great guy(Joe Leonard) to do business with, and they process beef and hogs as well. :yes:

Howdy all,

I switched to The Farmer's place/ The Deerman in South Edmonston about three years ago. I had been going to a popular shop near Rochester for a few years befor that.

The deerman does not add pork or water to his products, leaving them with a true venison flavor and texture.

It's a little out of the way, in the middle of no-where, but it's a nice drive through the countryside.

Only about about 6 miles from home, Joe's been doing my deer for the past 8-10 yrs, have him make you some little sticks great for taking with in the stand :) Makes the best jerky, I've ever had !!
