A friend gave me a spool of A-Tom-Mik #45 copper, and I was thinking of using it for early season browns and bluezone bows in the west end of the lake.

I don't have a spare reel that will fit the copper, but was planning to pick up two Convectors for wire dipsies. What size convector would be best to go with the 200' section and backing?

If I don't hate the copper I might pick up a 55L also for a 450' section later in the summer.

Thanks!

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll keep my eyes open for a deal on something that size over the winter.

How does the 200' work out for you? I find we were getting a lot of Kings fairly high on dipsies last year, so I hope it'll do even better off an inline board, and pick up lots of bonus trout.
