Northern NY'er looking for some ICE FISHING HOT SPOTS

I'm fairly new to the Greater Rochester area and I'm in need of some ice fishing hotspots. I have normally fished almost exclusively for Northern Pike up home, but any fish is fine, the bigger the better <|;o)

gives great updates on ice condition and what's biting on Sodus Bay. There is easy access to the bay from Sodus Pt, bay bridge @south end where the Bay Bridge Sport Shop (bait shop) is located and on the east side off Lake Bluff Rd. Good fishing from all locations depending on the day.

Where ya from up north? You'll probably enjoy not having 24" or more of ice in February.to drill through. I fished quite a bit at Chateaugay, Franklin Falls, and around Plattsburgh while I was in college there.

I'm from Malone fished all of the above and then some. Like DH I basically fished exclusive for Gators in the North till moving here now I have spent the past few years learning almost every species this awesome areas has and still have tons to learn but that's the fun of it!
