Cleanig Hull

I have always used acid to clean the green nastyness off the boat hull, Has any one used a power washer or other trick that may work better than acid? Thanks in advance of any help rendered.

a friend of mine bought a older fiberglass and used a steam jenny on it and it looked great when it was done.dont know if was any good for the glass but the gelcoat was already shot

star brite hull cleaner ,spay it on wash it off. ifits real bad just a little brushing. the stuff just melts offf the grime great stuff, used it on my bayliner ciera for a while

It's best to wash the bottom when the boat comes out and is still wet. That saves a lot of work.
