Yeah, too bad he broke the law when he took the picture though. At least he wasn't targeting them.

Update: I replied to the post on ice shanty with a friendly reminder to all that muskies and tigers are closed there and that pics are a no-no....Mine was pulled within an hour...the pic is still up.

The Ice Scoop Handle End used to lift the muskie out of the hole and to carry the muskie outside for the picture could mean ripped gills and dead fish,especialy if the fish thrashed.

To bad that most times when you post something trying to educate fishermen that normaly do not fish for muskies about how to or laws pertaining to, it almost always gets pulled from other fishing websites boards.

Well if anything good came of this, hundreds of fishermen are now aware of the rules. The fish was released healthy by the angler. The bad thing is now this once in a million days of ice fishing event will bring hoards of guys down to Chautauqua Lake to see if it could happen to them.
