I've fished out of a Shamrock years ago. It was very different from what we consider to be a conventional Lake O. boat. The engine sat in the middle of the hull, it was narrow, and it rode the waves very differently from anything else I've been in. I think I remember that it drafted quite a bit, too?

I know someone who had one in the mid 80's bought it new and went to get it in Florida. Back then, they would be on the level of a Pursuit, Grady etc in terms of quality. They were straight inboard at the time, the shaft was in a composite keel and they did not draw more than a conventional inboard.
