Well, personally I don't care how good a pattern it may be, I wouldn't have a spoon with THAT name anywhere near my boat, period!!! Lots of other spoons catch fish.

I agree Tim but for $16 grand if I have to tie a wire rig around Dan Marinos throat and stick a hook in his azz so be it.:clap:

Here is a picture of the Fishlander version of the Miami Dolphin. The picture is from a day off of Wilson Olcott were we landed 51 lakers and 8 kings fishing four rods. I bet 20 fish were on that one spoon. never had done much on it on the East end.

Do you remember how fast you were trolling that 28 size Fishlander?

Never have any trouble getting the Mags going just haven't done much on that size.

Thanks

Glen, For the lakers we were running @ about 2.4-2.5. It was a year that a big laker was leading the LOC so we were targeting lakers. Started in front of Wilson trolling East in 39 degree water - 50 fow. had 41 lakers by the time got to Somerset. We found 42 degree water there and I sped up to 2.7-2.8. Caught the 8 kings in may be an hour or less. Capt. Ernie caught on to what I was doing and made me slow back down for the rest of the lakers. Date was April 29 I believe. I think we only fished about 8 hours. Fun times. That size Fishlander seems to pretty speed tolerant for me.
