I am insurance shopping for the trophy. Looking for any of your guys input on the matter. Any companies better than the others?

The way I do my boat insurance is by combining it with my car and home insurance. It is a bit cheaper that way.In my case it is Geico.

Make sure that it is an 8 months out of the year insurance ,while the other 4 months (winter)the boat (if parked at your house) should fall under your home owners coverage.

i have progressive. my sea ray, used to cost me 250 a yr with full coverage. The new trophy is a bit more due too size but i have a few policy with progressive, so discount is about 10%..

325 a year with progressive, more coverage then i need. but I had to up grade this year to due to chartering and went with charter lakes. I bit more but still reasonable.

250 year for full coverage up to $6000 at progressive. this is for a 23' sportscraft 160hp engine, pleasure. They have free quotes online.

My 17' center console is insured with State Farm and the 25' Sportcraft is insured with BoatUS. For some reason State Farm was double the price for the Sportcraft and BoatUS was double the price for the little fellow.
