Seneca shore fishing 2-20-11

Not wanting to waste a bucket of bass minnows I got Thursday, I head up to Seneca to fish from the pier. I don't expect to catch much and the weather reports say its gonna be windy. Well I get there and its not too bad. With the nw winds there is some stained water along shore. On the advice of lakebound88 I set up in a spot and use some floats. Not too much later I land a 4 lb pike. The action was slow but steady and I ended up with 6 or 7 pike and 2 nice 5 lb browns. Pike ranged from 2-6 lbs. Nothing big but fun none the less as I was using 6 lb line. All in all a great day considering the forecast and old bait.
