I was wondering if anyone has tried this for wire dipsy set up ? Sevenstrand by sevalon. This braided 27lb. wire features 7 strands wrapped tightly together and coated with nylon making it durable and extremely flexible. Was thinking of trying it with a roller rod.Any thoughts or experiences with this would be helpful. Thinner than mono of the same lb. test.

Seen this up for sale on another site, used for Saltwater, was wondering myself if it would work. I see you can buy different lenghts and weights. I'll have to find the site again the prices were dirt cheap.

Remember, ya get what you pay for ;) A couple lost dipsey/flasher/fly's and you'll be sorry you saved yourself the money...or did you? :D

Hope it works out for ya, but I'd stick with AFW

I got the wire in today it sure seams like nice stuff. It seams like it is going to be more forgiving than uncoated wire.I have used wire for a few years now. I have good luck with it but by the end of the season it looks like a slinky. It got much better when I put the twilly tips on my rods, but I still get kinks aka a-holes and looks like a giant spring by seasons end.I have tried a couple of different brands always have used good swivels and every spring it whines up in my garbage can.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
