copper line

Do you need a twilly tip on the end of your rod when you use copper line. I have them for my wire line but I just bought my first copper set up and am not sure of the answer. Any help greatly appreciated!!

My understanding is no - you don't. Though I don't think it would hurt. You definately don't want to use a roller rod. I'm using a leadcore rod, but this is my first year too - so I don't have much experience yet. Ran it twice this year - it produced 1 of 2 times.

not necessary, copper is soft and will not score the guides like stainless steel wire will.
